Home Renewables Scotland are local solar and renewable partner who only work with three of the best installers in Scotland. All of the installers we work with are MCS approved and provide a customer centric service with strong customer reviews to back that up. They all have extensive knowledge of the most up to date renewable energy products available in the domestic market. Comprised of experienced surveyors and solar installers that have worked together for over a decade.
As well as all things solar, they supply and fit air source heat pumps, loft insulation, electric heating, including electric boiler installation and storage heaters.

You can be sure all home visits will be conducted using a consultative approach, STRICTLY NO HARD SELL ensuring we look at your home and circumstances in detail before making a recommendation to for you consider in your own time. Our installers understand how important it is that renewable products are sold via ethical advice to improve your homes energy efficiency, they have lots of repeat business because of this.
For example, often people contact them looking for heat pumps or other heating systems that are turned down because it will not reduce their energy bills contrary to what they believe or have been told by other installers.
Solar and Renewable Grants & Loans
During 2023 there has been more funding available in Scotland to assist you when buying solar panels for your home AND other renewables such as high heat retention storage heaters or an air source heat pump.
You can also qualify for a grant for one of these products on their own, if you already have one of these products installed.
As of June 26th 2023, loans are now only available to people who take both solar panels with battery storage AND electric storage heaters or an air source heat pump or who already have one of these products installed.
All funding is available via Home Energy Scotland.
Grants are awarded up to £9,000 and interest free loans for up to £12,000 repayable over a maximum of 12 years.

Hugh heat retention electric storage heaters and electric boilers part of wet electric central heating systems.
